Facelift

As you age, your facial muscles loosen and your skin becomes less elastic, creating folds and lines. A facelift operation can give you a more alert and youthful appearance by reducing saggy skin and wrinkles.

A facelift can lift your whole face (a full facelift) or just your brow area, lower face or neck. The effects usually last for seven to ten years as your face will continue to age. You will get the best results if you maintain a stable body weight, don’t smoke, have skin with good levels of elasticity and good bone structure.

Eyelid surgery

As you get older, the skin around your eyes loses its elasticity and the muscles become looser. Your skin can develop into loose folds on your upper eyelids and deep creases under your lower lids. As the muscles become looser, the fat around your eye may also bulge forward and make your lower eyelids appear baggy.

Cosmetic eyelid surgery – also called blepharoplasty – can remove the excess skin and fat from around your eyes, giving you a more youthful appearance. Eyelid surgery can also help to reduce swelling (puffiness) around the eyes first thing in the morning. The procedure can be done on the upper and lower lids.

Ear surgery

Otoplasty is the answer if ears that feel too large or prominent for your head embarrass you. This short surgery can make ears less noticeable by setting them closer to the head or reducing their size. Otoplasty is generally done on children over the age of 5, but there are no additional risks associated with the adult patient.

The surgery usually entails making an incision in the back of the ear and performing corrective procedures on the cartilage in order to reduce the prominence and improve the contour. Most patients recover quickly and return home the same day. In most cases, ear surgery will leave a faint scar in the back of the ear that will fade with time. The procedure is usually performed under general anaesthesia.

Nose Surgery

Many people desire a nose that is balanced with the rest of their facial features. Therefore, rhinoplasty – a surgery to reshape the nose – is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures.

Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It may also correct a birth defect or injury or help relieve some breathing problems. All of these changes can be safely accomplished with this procedure.
